BOOKKEEPER
AREA:  GREENPOINT
SALARY: R 10 000 TOTAL COST TO COMPANY
Purpose of the Job:
To take full responsibility for the whole financial-, related administrative- and accoutning functions. To at all times be aware of the financial state as well as any business developments in the company. 
Major Task Headings:
~ Processing
~ Accruals / Provisions and Pre-payments - Timing
~ Reconciling
~ Reporting (Management Accounts, Budgets and Forecasts, Cash Flow Forecasts)
~ Statutory Returns
~ Controls and Procedures
~ Inter Group Transactions
~ Fixed Assets
~ General Administration
~ Financial Month Ends and - Year End
~ Annual Audit & Internal Audits
Minimum requirements: 
* B.Com qualification or equivalent / NDIP: Cost and Management Accounting
* 5 years working experience
Previous experience within a tourism industry advantageous
Previous experience in Tourplan advantageous



GENERAL OFFICE CLERK
INDUSTRY: FMCG
SALARY: R 2 500 & o/time
JOB TYPE: Permanent

A warehousing company in Montague Gardens is looking to employ a General Office Clerk.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Document matching and control
Data entering
Filing
Downloading
The successful applicant will have at least 6 months admin exp + SAP exp.
Computer literacy is essential.
Candidates must be able to work regular overtime at short notice.
Office hours:
08h00 to 16h30 (Mondays to Fridays)
Once per month 08h00 to 12h00 (Saturday)

BALANCE SHEET BOOKKEEPER
AREA:    HOUT BAY
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
  B Compt, CIS or similar
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  Minimum 3 years in auditing/accounting environment, preferably with tax knowledgeMAIN FUNCTIONS 
Write up & reconciliation of general ledger accounts, preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts, preparation and submission of vat and paye returns as well as provisional tax returns and income tax returns, liasing with clients and Sars, sorting out accounting and tax queries.
HOURS OF WORK   8.30am to 5pm, 1 hour for lunch (basic sandwich ingredients provided by office)
 
SALARY PACKAGE  Gross about R10,000 pm,
 
MAIN ATTRIBUTES    Well groomed individual, able to use own initiative when appropriate, able to distinguish when appropriate to use own initiative and ask questions when not sure. Disciplined and motivated self starter, good people skills, ability to recognize a problem and find a solution, good language skills - spoken & written.
